Guest Sallycha Posted August 18, 2012 Report Share Posted August 18, 2012 We bought a Dorgard fire door holder and now cannot fix it with the screw kit provided as we are told that we must not screw into steel fire door. Safelincs Posted August 20, 2012 Report Share Posted August 20, 2012 Hi Sally and Tom There is actually a solution for this problem. The Dorgard can be fixed to steel doors or kickboards using an adapter set. This does not require screwing the Dorgard into the door at all.
