February 10, 20224 yr comment_23909 Hello all, In my house I need to have firedoors. The two floors of the building have carpets and under the door metallic stripe. ( I don't know if the carpets have the related BS standards.) Based on firedoor's manufacture's manual the gap under the door should me maximum 10mm from the floor. As I can see on the manufacture's manual with the tests of the door they do not have any reference for carpets. Should I consider the carpet as floor or the metallic strip? or the unfinished floor? Any Idea what is appropriate and/or minimum requirement? thank you Report
