February 19, 20215 yr comment_19346 Hi, On a new install of a FD30 door set, would you expect intumescent packers to be fitted on the hinges? FD60 i would say yes, however on a FD30 i'm unsure, and all the information i can find states refer to the manufactors instruction. Any help would be useful. Thanks Report
February 22, 20215 yr comment_19385 That's right, in order to find out what type and size of hinges as well as whether intumescent gaskets are required you would need to check the door leaf/door-set manufacturer's installation data sheet. I note that its a new installation, so the manufacturer's installation data sheet will be available. Report
