AnthonyB Posted June 4, 2020 Report Share Posted June 4, 2020 It's purely a convenience factor - for use in high traffic areas where the doors being closed would hinder circulation leading to the doors being wedged or damaged (the later particularly where trolleys of goods are pushed through).
