Guest Guest Posted October 31, 2019 Report Share Posted October 31, 2019 My normal window fitter told me that he can not fit an Final Fire Exit Door for me, because this can now only be done by companies that are specially certified to do so. Tom Sutton Posted October 31, 2019 Report Share Posted October 31, 2019 He is wrong, but because it is a fire door that needs to be fitted, it has to be by a competent person (joiner) as defined by The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
