A fire alarm system has cause and effect programmed to sound 'evacuate' in the detected zone with the zones next to it just to sound an intermitant alert.  Can an interface be added to the circuit in each zone programmable to only switch when the sounders are in evacuation?

You would need to ask who ever maintains your fire alarm can as you request be done.

Depends on the make of panel - some have far greater ability for complex C&E than others. It's not by any means beyond possibility though. You could ask on firealarmengineers.com/forum
