What requirements for fire safety is for furniture which is used to trade in shopping centre? It is RMU kiosk not shop and standing in the middle of the corridor of the shopping centre.

In the UK, wallcoverings designated as a fire escape route, or public areas must achieve a surface spread of flame to the British Class '0' fire rating or European Class B-s3, d2 this will also apply to furniture which is used in the escape routes in a shopping centre. I would also consider it would need to meet the standards of medium hazard according to the Fire safety of furniture and furnishings in the contract and non-domestic sectors. This should be referred to the Centre Manager who should in turn consult the owner's competent person for fire safety. Fire Safety in shopping Malls uses Fire engineered solutions and the use of RMU's has to be carefully considered both in size (needs to leave 3m each side) & fire loading (within the design limits for the sprinklers & smoke control system).
