Hi,

I  live in a 1990s 3 storey town house and am looking to replace the door latches, locks and hinges as they are tired and discoloured.

On inspection there are no intumescent pads under the hinges, latches etc.

Do I need to fit any with the new door furniture to comply with current regulations?

    Unless carrying out a change to the building that would come under Building Regulations then inside a private dwelling the most you would be expected to do is maintain the doors to the standard approved at original installation/build.
