Guest Paul Posted August 2, 2021 Report Share Posted August 2, 2021 Hi, just a quick question, I know that if a door has a digi lock & lever handle its is a fail as 2 locks are not allowed on fire doors, but is a new door needed as a void will be left in door or can a b m trada trained door fitter repair door. Neil ashdown Posted August 4, 2021 Report Share Posted August 4, 2021 Clearly, if you remove a lock and leave a hole in the door it should be repaired. This can be done by a competent person but the door manufacturer's fire performance certification is likely to be void due to the lack of evidence of fire resistance performance in a 'repaired state'.
