Fire extinguisher thrown in cupboard

Hi

Reported to landlord that this fire extinguisher was rusting/broken and pressure gauge was in the red.

He said this extinguisher was actually surplus to requirements now and the delay in it being disposed of was due covid.

a few hours later, I notice the fire extinguisher that was surplus to requirements has been replaced and the one I reported has been thrown in the already over crowded under stairs cupboard.. just doesn’t seem right to me.

It isn't right. It's controlled waste under The Waste (England and Wales) Regulations 2011 so should have been removed and disposed of by a licensed contractor.

More worrying is that cupboard is an extreme fire hazard with all that combustible stuff stored against the distribution board.
