Hi, we are fitting a fire door between our garage and our boiler room. (The boiler room is attached to the house and has a back door leading from it; above the garage is a bedroom.) Can we fit an oak threshold beneath the fire door under current regulations so long as the gaps are correct? Thanks for your help.
