Certifying fire doors and frames

Featured Replies

Hello I’m hoping you can advise me.  I have a small joinery company and have been asked to supply occasional replacement fire doors and frames that have been damaged through forced entry. Could you tell me if there is a course i can attend to enable me to certify any of the replacement doors and frames we supply.

Regards Kenny

Are you buying in certificated fire door sets or are you making them using fire door blanks, if you need to replace them.

Check out https://www.firedoorscomplete.com/fire-door-training or https://www.nptcgroup.ac.uk/courses/installation-fire-resisting-timber-doors/ may be useful
