September 29, 20187 yr comment_12693 I had Ei140RC series fitted February 2018. All new units. All new batteries. On one unit, the red light currently flashes twice every 40 seconds, instead of once every 40 seconds. This particular alarm was also beeping three times (not chirping) intermittently over night, at about 3am. I vacuumed around the alarm using the soft brush attachment of the vacuum cleaner; it didn’t beep again, but still it flashes red twice, instead of just once. Green light is solid and there's been no recent power cuts. Can anyone help please; dreading being woken again tonight! Report
October 1, 20187 yr comment_12697 Hi Katy If the alarm has been activated in the last 24 hours, the internal memory is set and the alarm will flash red twice every 40 seconds. After 24 hours this should revert to once every 40 seconds. Harry Report
September 5, 20223 yr comment_29246 My alarm is also flashing red twice every 40 seconds, it went off for no reason last night several times, I’ve changed batteries in all alarms, I get that it’ll reset in 24 hours but I’m sitting here just waiting on it going off again, I pressed the test button after changing batteries, all the other alarms are fine sorry if that’s a bit of a ramble, I’m just tired! June 2, 20251 yr comment_49597 Hi around 23:05 alarm went of it was fitted in Feb this year and went of for no reason then stopped after 5seconds giving people a fright and jump out of the skin I want this to be solved why has this happens is there a fault or what every 40 seconds the red red light flashes twice on the special indicator no lights what so ever when there use to be one can sum one help Report
