September 2, 20178 yr comment_10725 Hi, My Ei 151TL alarm required replacing as the 10 year date came to an end. I bought the alternative alarm as the Ei 151TL is no longer avaliable. I can see the new alarm Ei161e the wires have to be disconnected from the plug socket and re-wired directly into the alarm base. The four wires currently coming though the celing are live, battery, interconnect & neutral. My only question is what do i do with the battery wire for the new alarm Ei161e? As the Ei161e only has live, interconnect & neutral. Rob Report
