May 17, 201610 yr comment_8888 Many thanks for getting back in touch! It is separated by a protected lobby located at ground floor level. This lobby contains a FD30 door to the accommodation, a FD30 door to pub and a door leading to outside of the premises. Are flats of these kinds considered as Dwelling houses or buildings other than dwellings houses? My interpretation of the regs was that we would have had to follow volume two. and thus all habitable rooms would require upgrade to FD30 doors? Cheers David Report
May 19, 201610 yr comment_8894 I would consider this flat subject to ADB vol 2 and dependent on the the number of floors, (height) 2.12 or 2.13 would at appropriate.
