Guest David Posted September 17, 2015 Report Share Posted September 17, 2015 If my roof is not flat but is made up of 8 or so voids as part of a glass house roof, do I need extra detectors.and if I have a separate stores building with detectors does this have to be joined to the main building system! Tom Sutton Posted September 18, 2015 Report Share Posted September 18, 2015 (edited) Is there a ceiling below the voids concealing them or are they used to provide light to the workplace and if there is a ceiling is it fire resisting. If it is a totally separation then you could have separated fire alarms, but you must consider if the fire alarm operates, will they be heard for persons to act.
