we are owners/landlords of a recently refurbished office building and i note that we have to display both Fire Action signs and do not use lift signs in accordance with BS5499. THE QUESTION IS THIS___ ARE WE ALLOWED TO DISPLAY THESE SIGNS IN MONO COLOUR? I note that all of the signs that you can buy on line are blue/red/yellow/green which aesthetically does not match the buildings style.

Fire Action signs are usually and should be blue with white lettering and in small offices you may not need them at all. Check page 103 of Offices and shops guide.
