Hi there, I have started a new job for the Church of England. the Bishop has asked for a ceramic tile, which has 'Welcome' on it, to be placed on a fire door. I think I can stick the tile to the small glazed panel. Is this OK to do?

I see no problems fixing it to the fire door but the small glazed panel it depends on the reason for the glazed panel. It could be a vision panel for the safety of occupants and fixing a ceramic tile could reduce the vision.

Our Church Hall is currently being refurbished for worship and community purposes.

Once you come through the main entrance you are in a foyer and double doors lead into the large hall. The double doors going into the hall are hardwood pattern 10's (one large opening) - not fire doors. My question is - should they be fire doors?

All other doors going off the hall are half hour fire doors.

Thanks

Mary
