Can I infill around a smaller lock in a fire door?

If a lock is changed and the new one is smaller than the old one is it posible to infill the door. if so what do the regs say, ive had a look on line but cant find anything.

    I cannot see why not there is plenty of intumescent materials available to infill, like paste which would appear to be ideal. Contact one of the companies that specialise in intumescent products.
