  1. Hinge blade positions and intumescent strips

    Hi Guys, Please can somebody advise, I have over 80 fire doors where the hinge blades have been moved forward. I thought it was for the batwing seals at first but the gaps on most were 5-7mm which was too much. This has left a void in the frame where the hinge should be and the intumescent around the frame stops at the hinge. Should this continue behind, filled or frame replaced? cheers
