Hi, I'm hoping someone can advise me as to whether or not I should be concerned about low level CO readings in my living room. So I have four of the Fireangel CO-9D digital Carbon Monoxide detectors; Locations; Bedroom Living room Kitchen Basement (where the combi boiler is) One of the functions of this CO monitor is the ability to check peak readings within the last month. All rooms apart from the living room are 0ppm. When I have walked pasted the monitors they all display 0ppm, however last week I checked the living room monitor after around 1month, it stated that's its peak reading was 40ppm. I was concern about this s…

I have multiple CM alarms, with this said. If one CM alarm is going off, should the other alarm which is 20-25 (if that) away from the other CM Alarm be going off as well? I'm not sure if this alarm is still good.

  6. In my area there has been a rise of 25% in people being admitted to hospital with CO poisoning, not all will be fatalities but those others will suffer the side effects, which can be devastating. CO affects all the organs of the body including the brain, resulting in many cases of memory loss and other debilitating illnesses, so get a CO detector. The new Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarm (England) Regulations 2015 doesn't go far enough, so protect yourself, if you have any devices using fossil fuels. (Gas, coal, timber, oil etc.) This is not a sales pitch get your CO detectors anywhere, you choose, but protect yourself today and Safelincs will provide any help you need. …

Could you please help with where I need to install my carbon monoxide alarm. I have heard that it is heavier than air so should be installed low down but also that it should be installed higher up than that. Thanks

I have the leaflet explaining why the alarm would go off. But twice today my alarm has gone off twice a time every few seconds but doesn't explain this pattern on the leaflet so I'm not sure why? Leaflet states when faulty and when battery needs changing and they and the detection of carbon monoxide don't describe how my alarm is going off?

I have bought a CO detector, only to find that the installation instructions say not to install it in a bathroom. My gas boiler is in a downstairs shower room that includes a shower, toilet and washing machine. Yet I am advised by my gas provider to install a CO detector therein. What is your advice, should I or should I not install a detector in this room?

Do you know if there is any reason not to put 9v lithium long life batteries into CO alarms?

Hi I have a CO alarm in my boiler room where my gas boiler is. Do I need one in the living room where we have an open fire and burn coal and wood. I am a bit confused as I thought CO was only due to gas boilers but a friend has said otherwise. Cheers
