We believe the door is a 30 minute fire rated door with vision panel in. The client has asked to confirm what fire rated door is required and if a vision panel is required. We are adding an extra level to our home, and this room will be at the top of a stairwell. It sounds like you are in a very similar situation. Tom Sutton Posted February 11, 2015 Report Share Posted February 11, 2015 It is most likely to be a FD30s fire door and if a fire alarm is installed, then a vision panel would not be necessary.
