Live on 5th floor and middle of night fire alarm went off triggering the opening of fir windows on each landing. It was false alarm but our fire window was not closed for over 12 hours. We were never informed it was open. Is this a breach of health and safety?

    Why would it be a breach of health and safety?  In some cases when the fire alarm is reset the AOV's will close, if this is not the case (Quite often it isn't) Then who ever resets the fire alarm should close them.
