January 9, 20206 yr comment_16152 I have a Deta 1121 Mains Operated Fixed Carbon Monoxide Alarm which has just started beeping 3 times. I have checked the manual and this is because it is at the end of life. The alarm was in a new build house so I have no idea who installed it therefore, I have no idea who should I contact in order to replace the unit. is this the sort of thing that I should contact a standard electrician about? thanks ickle Report
January 10, 20206 yr comment_16167 Was it working satisfactory when you took over the premises if it was then it is your responsibility and you need to replace it. You need to purchase a new mains operated one and have it fitted by an electrician, or get a battery operated one and fix it yourself.
