Hi again,

In residential properties an electrical safety test is recommended every 5 years. Can anyone advise in the case of a retail unit let by a commercial tenant whose responsibility it is to check the electrics - the landlord or the commercial tenant?

    Usually the landlord before occupancy if vacant, then the tenant whilst they hold the lease unless you have agreed in the lease to do it for them
