Guest Ted Posted November 23, 2011 Report Share Posted November 23, 2011 Hi I stayed in a B&B last week end and was a little concerned that the fire door at the top of the stairs opened and then blocked my exit from my bedroom. Had there been a fire and other guests were exiting the building from my landing, I would not have been able to get out. Is this legal? I would suggest you contact the local fire and rescue service and make them aware of your concerns.
