Please see below my query, any advice or guidance you can give will be helpful. 

With regards to commercial office buildings, are there an BS standards or regulations that permit installing a 1hr fire rated door into a 2hr fire rated wall? I understand as a industry rule of thumb this is the case but cannot find any documentation to back it up?
