February 3, 20188 yr comment_11462 Hi we are in the process of purchasing a house. We wanted to convert a study into a bedroom. But an architect thought that fire regulation would not meet with this project and that this could not be done. Where could I ask for reassurance? Indra Report
February 3, 20188 yr comment_11465 Your Local Authority Building Control Office. It may be possible, just require the provision of additional fire precautions to the dwelling. It's a bit worrying the architect is not conversant with building regulations though! Report
