I am selling a flat. They are purpose built privately owned flats.  18 flats in all with three entrances, 6 flats in each block.  They have fire extinguishers which are checked and refilled each year.  Does there need to be a fire risk assessment.

    The fire extinguishers may not be needed (if they are purpose built flats) but the fire risk assessment is - but only for the common areas carried out by the management company and not for each flat.
