Fire safety evidence needed in halls

Recommended Posts

Guest PhillipWeb

We rent a hall for club meetings for adults with a learning disability can you advise what we can ask the landlord to evidence re the building fire safety.
Does he need a fire certificate for the building and evidence of the safe number of occupants etc. Also fire alarm requirements.
Thanks.

There are no Fire Certificate's now but the premises are subject to a fire risk assessment and depending on the situation this could be a recorded document. There could be a fire strategy document, but unlikely, log books recording various tests and there should be a written emergency fire evacuation procedure.
