Smoke alarm for ceiling voids

Featured Replies

If my roof is not flat but is made up of 8 or so voids as part of a glass house roof, do I need extra detectors.

and if I have a separate stores building with detectors does this have to be joined to the main building system!

Is there a ceiling below the voids concealing them or are they used to provide light to the workplace and if there is a ceiling is it fire resisting.

If it is a totally separation then you could have separated fire alarms, but you must consider if the fire alarm operates, will they be heard for persons to act.
