Tom Sutton Posted August 24, 2015 Report Share Posted August 24, 2015 Having a microwave in the office kitchen room will depend on the result of a fire risk assessment and in the past there has been a number of fires involving microwave ovens. The location of the kitchen in relation to the mean of escape, is the room enclosed to a 30 minute fire resisting standard and are there an appropriate fire extinguisher available, are important considerations.
