June 10, 201412 yr comment_6349 Hi, i am new to this forum and I was just looking for some advice. I have a bicycle and I have to park it outside but I am not sure if where I am parking it constitutes a fire risk. Obviously i don't want to park it there in case it is. I have enclosed a picture. If it is not a fire risk how can I show this [self assessment etc] to the housing manager to show that it is ok. Kind regards, James Report
June 10, 201412 yr comment_6355 The only fire risk your cycle poses is restricting the escape route providing it does not fall over and cause a tripping hazard, there should be no problems. The escape route is the door about 700 mm and there is a clear opening of about 2250 mm, but I would consider locking it to the railings for security and prevent it from being knock over. Report
