I have on of your Kidde Firex Mains Powered Smoke Alarms with Lithium Battery Back-up
Product Code: KE4892
Version: Heat Alarm

It has started today beeping every 15 seconds. Could you advise what I need to do please. The green light is on

Hi Sadhana

The green light means you have good power supply, so no issue there. Cleaning out would not help as it is a heat alarm. Lithium re-chargeable means the backup batteries do not need to be replaced. Unfortunately, this sounds as if you will need a new alarm. The new model for this is called KEKF3R by the way.

I have the same issue with this model, green light is on and unit is beeping. The unit has a 6/05/2010 sticker on it. I believe these units have a six year warranty.

Can it be replaced under warranty?
