We are fitting new external doors to a building with push bars as they are fire exit doors. Is there a legal requirement that they must be RED? or can they be any colour, ie our company colour?

Select the colour of your choice and use your company colour if you wish. What is more important is to ensure you fix the correct signs to the door and any other signs that is required. Starting with the emergency exit sign and as you mention push bars you will need the "push bar" sign.
