Replacement for i240C

Can I replace the i240C with a four-wire rechargeable battery model, don't know. anyone help?

Probably not.

It depends what make/model of smoke alarm you currently have (i240c?) and more to the point what do you want to replace it with and are there any more smoke alarms?

You can not "mix and match" brands of smoke alarm if they are interlinked, but all good smoke alarms should be interlinked. Also unless it has a 10 year battery, I would never suggest changing a mains smoke alarm for a battery smoke alarm.
