Hello,

I need to replace the three Ei141 smoke detectors I have in my house with new ones. The obvious solution is to use the Replacement for Ei141, but this is again another smoke detector with a battery that needs to be replaced. If I purchase the Ei3016, can I use the old base? And, will the inter-connectivity among the three smoke detectors remain the same given that I will not change the wiring?

All Aico smoke alarms use the "easy fit" base so yes you can just "swap them over" the wired interlink will also work, the only thing that will not work is the ability to monitor them on your mobile phone, for that you need the "smart link module" (one for each smoke alarm)
