Hi,

What are the gaps supposed to between the metal door/frame. Also what is the gap supposed to be under the door. Will the gap tolerance be different from a timber door and would the rebate on a steel frame not stop fire/smoke. 

If the gap is to big what can be done? Packers wouldn’t work as hinges are flush already.
