May 31, 201214 yr comment_2170 Hi I was just wondering if u could help i have searched the internet high and low and am unable to find the answer... I have just rented a house off swansea council i have 5 young children and my front door opens on to the stairs which then locks it,is this against fire regulations? As if 7 people in my household arecoming down the stairs and one opens the door then the other 6 are blocked in..if you could help i would really appreciate it thank u very much Donna Report
May 31, 201214 yr comment_2171 I think there is a typo error and it should read blocks not locks, if this is the case then it does appear to be unacceptable. I would suggest you request a free home fire safety check from the South Wales Fire and Rescue Service on 0800 169 1234 or go to their website and register online. They will be able to resolve this matter. Report
