Brettkelly Posted June 13, 2022 Report Share Posted June 13, 2022 Gents I’ve done my FIA 4 day course and passed no problem but have left the company to go into fire management and Heath and safety my new company want me to service their units but obviously I’m not BAFE anymore does it matter ? AnthonyB Posted July 9, 2022 Report Share Posted July 9, 2022 No - you just need to be competent and correctly equipped for the job which is currently accepted as holding an in date 4 day extinguisher technician qualification (renewed 3 yearly with a one day refresher), having the correct tools and consumables and of course insured.
