Hello I currently own and live in a 2 bedroom flat in Scotland. I live on the 5th floor of a block with 6 floors in total. All the doors in the flat are fire doors and all have self closing devices (with the exception of the 2 bathrooms). They are essentially just overhead hinges but do the job fine. I just wanted clarification on whether it is a legal requirement to have self closing devices on all doors? Prior to buying the flat I rented it for a couple of years and wasn’t sure if these devices were on the doors due to landlord requirements? Many Thanks
