PAT test labels on all appliances (kettles, heaters, hairdriers) in all rooms in hotel I stayed in March 2012 state 'tested June 2010 next test due June 2011' All paper work show due June 2011. Manager says done every 2 years & 'that's what trip switches are for'. Who do I contact to ensure safety of other guests? Thank you

First try to understand the legislation check out http://www.pat-testing.info/legal.htm. PAT is required by The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 and failure to comply is a breach of the Consumers Protection Act 1987 so I would suggest you contact the local Trading Standards who should be able to assist you.
All my responses only apply to England and Wales and they are an overview of the subject, hopefully it will point you in the right direction and always treat with caution. Scotland and Northern Ireland has differing legislation
