I’m an Interior Designer and have just taken on a client who would like me to design their new spa facility which is inside a shopping precinct. This is the first time I will have designed this type of facility and I am currently researching fire safety standards & guidance the area should comply with. Would you happen to know where I could look for more specific details on the fire specification and British Standards which furnishings, fixtures and fittings will have to meet?

I’d really appreciate some help getting started as I’m coming up against a minefield of conflicting advice!
