November 14, 20196 yr comment_15764 Hi, My mains powered smoke detectors (4 x Ionisation Smoke Alarm Ei151TL) have started to go off with no reason. Few of months ago, I took them all off and gave them a good clean and they have been ok till this morning, they went off. SO I have to take them out. I can see that they are discontinued and I won't be able to get same one to replace. My question is, are there any compatible models that i can buy and plug in to the same base? If the answer is no, what model do you recommend that I can buy and get an electrician to fit them for me? Thanks Report
November 14, 20196 yr comment_15768 Hi, unfortunately, you need to replace the unit AND the base. The good news is that there is a compatible replacement kit with a pattress that covers the unsightly stain left form the original alarm's footprint. Harry Report
