Guest LStim Posted July 20, 2011 Report Share Posted July 20, 2011 We are installing an external door leading from our garage to the outside side passage which leads between our house and the side bricked wall of the next doors house. Would this door need to be 30 minute fire rated or because it is an external door can it just be a normal external door? Section 9 will most probably be the relevant section for you, it all depends on the unprotected area and how far from the boundary you are.
