I have mobility issues and I asked my housing association if there was a fire risk assessment. I was told it was not required. I don’t think this is correct as I am 1 of 18 flats of which 9 are below street level all with elderly with mobility issues. The safest exit is through the patio door to a communal garden that is not lit at all. Should I insist on a fire risk assessment to be carried out? Quote
