After some help, we have a property where a resident has behavioral challenges whereby he regular slams the fire doors, we have tried changing the door closures, using door stops, but nothing seems to stop him damaging the frame of the door with constant slamming.  The door is on a protected corridor and we have spend a lot of time and money looking for a solution, preventing the resident targeting the door will only lead to further behavioral challenges.  Any advice gratefully received.

Change for a metal heavy duty fire door-set. Some have reinforcing channels built into the doors and door frames.
