Are there any other requirements for mag locks being installed on timber doors other than they can’t be drilled through leaf/frame and must be linked up fire alarm system? The mag locks in our work place that have just been installed have no CE mark or details on them. Does this mean it might not be fire rated?

    Magnetic locks fitted to timber-based fire doors should be suitable for and compatible with the fire door.  Consult the product certification data sheets for the maglock and for the fire door, for suitability and compatibility with eachother.
