Guest Richard Posted January 28, 2023 Report Share Posted January 28, 2023 I am looking at fitting some new fire doors and would lick to know the position of the concealed door closer in relationship to the 3rd hinge as both of these are generally fitted in the middle of the door. Neil Ashdown MAFDI Posted January 30, 2023 Report Share Posted January 30, 2023 The door leaf manufacturer will advise whether such a device is permitted as well as the position for the middle hinge. The self-closer manufacturer's installation instructions will provide the details about the position of the self-closer in connection with the middle hinge.
