  1. I have been posed a question by a colleague who is carrying out an FRA on a purpose built block of flats in England. There are 50 retirement flats in a building which has a stay put policy. These are domestic premise on a leased tenancy. Two of the residents have been identified as wheelchair users and the accommodation manager has requested a copy of a PEEPs template, however there is no provision of a refuge area with voice comms or any evac chairs. Are these a requirement in a residential building with a stay put policy? Anyone who answers this question, if you could please also provide a reference for it, it would be much appreciated. Many thanks.
  2. I have a colleague who has carried out an FRA on a women's refuge organisation which has a bungalow which has 2 x bedrooms in the loft space. Is there a legal requirement for a 2nd means of escape should the primary staircase leading to the loft space be compromised? Can these be windows and if so what are the specifications? There are no dormers and the roof is pitched. The bungalows are in England. Could those answering please provide reference please? Kind Regards
